FIRST Robotics, the FTC organization, awards both teams and individuals with various awards to recognize excellence in a specific aspect of the competition
2023/24
State-Qualifier Inspire
Fire Robotics received first place for the Inspire Award at the 2023-24 North Jersey League Meet. The team was awarded this honor on account of their outstanding portfolio and unique robot design. The portfolio enhanced the countless hours put into the robot, making it a great season.
2021/22
State-Qualifier Motivate
The Motivate Award is awarded to teams who embrace the culture of FIRST and clearly show what it means to be a team. This judged award celebrates the team that represents the essence of the FIRST Tech Challenge competition. Fire robotics won the Motivate award for the second year in a row at the 2020-21 North Jersey Meet.
2022/23
State-Qualifier Motivate
Fire Robotics won their third consecutive Motivate Award at the 2022-23 North Jersey League Meet, once again allowing them to move on to the State Championship. The team was recognized for their extensive STEM awareness events and their enthusiastic team spirit, as well as their newly formed friendships with other teams.
2022/23
State-Qualifier Inspire
At the 2022-23 North Jersey League Meet, Fire Robotics won third place for the Inspire Award. Receiving this top award was one of the three factors that brought Fire to the State Championship. The team earned this award with their compelling engineering portfolio, innovative robot, and inclusive outreaches in their community.
2022/23
State-Qualifier Winning Alliance
On top of winning the Inspire Award and Motivate Award, Fire Robotics was part of the winning alliance at the 2022-23 North Jersey Legue Meet. They along with #18051 Robotic Llamas and #10785 Highlanders were three of the select seven that moved on to States.
2021/22
Motivate
The Motivate Award is awarded to teams who embrace the culture of FIRST and clearly show what it means to be a team. This judged award celebrates the team that represents the essence of the FIRST Tech Challenge competition. Fire robotics won the Motivate award for the second year in a row at the 2020-21 North Jersey Meet.
2019/20
Motivate
Fire Robotics won their first Motivate Award at the 2019-20 North Jersey League Meet, helping them move onto the State championship. The team won this award off of their large media presence, especially their youtube tutorials as well as their mentoring program, helping a rookie FLL team make it to the New Jersey State Championship.
2018/19
Inspire
FIRE Robotics won the top award, Inspire, judged award is given to the team that best embodies the ‘challenge’ of the FIRST Tech Challenge program. The team that receives this award is a strong ambassador for FIRST programs and a role model FIRST team. Fire won the Inspire award while hosting the 2018-19 North Jersey Meet at Livingston High School.
